Our free, voluntary home visits connect pregnant and parenting families with Public Health Nurses who provide support, education, and resources in the comfort of their own homes. Whether you’re preparing for your baby’s arrival, adjusting to life with a newborn, looking for lactation support, or interested in ongoing parenting support, our Public Health Nurses are here to help.
Postpartum Newborn Home Visits
Available to all families after the birth of a baby
A Public Health Nurse can visit you in the comfort of your home during the first weeks after delivery. Whether this is your first baby or you’re welcoming another new addition to the family, we’re here to answer your questions and help you feel confident as you adjust to life with your newborn.
A Postpartum Newborn Visit may include:

Lactation Support Visits
For families who are breastfeeding, pumping, combination feeding, or preparing to breastfeed.
Our Certified Lactation Specialists and Counselors provide personalized lactation support before and after your baby’s birth. Whether you’re facing challenges or simply looking for additional support, we’re here to help you meet your feeding goals.
Lactation Support Visits can help with:
