According to a study done by the Minnesota Department of Health, 33,411 opioid prescriptions were dispensed in Meeker, McLeod, and Sibley counties in 2021. The number of opioids reported as dispensed in Minnesota has been steadily decreasing since 2017, but Meeker, McLeod, and Sibley counties continue to be above average. In 2022, 1,428 females had an Emergency Room visit for opioid involved overdose in Minnesota.
Parenting while in recovery is hard. Project Harmony is here to help women who are pregnant and/or parenting children 10 years old and younger, who live in Meeker, McLeod or Sibley counties, and are seeking recovery from any substance use, including but not limited to alcohol, methamphetamine, marijuana, opioids, cocaine, heroin, nonprescription methadone, and hallucinogens.

Participants have access to free, voluntary support by a Registered Nurse and Peer Recovery Specialist. Support may include:
- Parenting support from a Registered Nurse
- Personalized recovery tools with a Peer Recovery Specialist
- Help finding community resources
- Financial assistance with emergency needs like childcare, transportation, or housing
- Assistance navigating health and social services
- Food Support
- Health Insurance
- Cash Assistance
- Medical and Dental
- Child Support
